Page Program
PAGE PROGRAM
The Page Program is a unique chance for students 12 or older to get a first hand experience of their state government at work. As a page, you will work for one legislative day on the floor of the House of Representatives. During this time they will assist Representatives by taking notes onto the floor of the House and delivering them from state officials, lobbyists and constituents. Also, they will have the opportunity to be pictured with their State Representative and possibly with House Leadership.

Please understand that the Legislative schedule is determined by the House and Senate leadership. All scheduled dates for your child to serve as a Page is subject to change at a moment’s notice. Should your child be chosen for the program, please be available on the day he or she is scheduled to serve, up until the time he or she is registered with the clerk’s desk. Pages are responsible for their own transportation to and from the Capitol.
All Pages must report to the Page Desk by 9:00 a.m. A certificate of service will be presented to each page at the end of the day. This certificate will serve as an excuse from school.
Each member is permitted ten (10) page slots per session. You may be put on a waiting list for next year or you may get to pick a day this session.
If your child is interested in serving as a Page, please contact me or my staff to see if a slot will be available for the 2009 term
